Our NHS app survey is now open. Share your feedback with us today!

The Government’s 10-year NHS plan aims to improve healthcare access through technology and digital tools. By 2028, the NHS App is planned to be 'a full front door to the entire NHS.'

Whilst this may be good news for some people, we are concerned about people who do not use the NHS app, especially people facing digital exclusion, such as older adults, people with limited technology skills and people with no access to smart devices. What happens to their access to healthcare services and support, now and in the future?

Healthwatch Reading has partnered with Healthwatch Wokingham Borough on a joint project to explore how residents across Reading and Wokingham Borough are experiencing or missing out on digital healthcare services.

Our goal is to build a clear local picture that we can share with NHS England and local healthcare leaders, to help tackle digital exclusion and improve access to, and support for, people using the NHS App.

We would love to hear about your experience using the NHS app through our short, anonymous survey.

Please complete the survey if you:

  • Use the NHS app regularly

  • Have tried it a few times

  • Have never used it

Your voice matters and will help to make a change!

We understand that not everyone has access to or feels comfortable using online surveys. That’s why our online survey is just one of the ways we’re collecting feedback.

The team are also actively out speaking to people and communities across Reading face-to-face. If you know someone who would like a paper copy or a different way to share their views, please feel free to contact us using the details below, and we’ll be happy to help.
